SUMMARY

Unmistakable Gallic style and remarkably technically advanced, a left-hand drive DS19 offered without Reserve.

DESCRIPTION

  • After 18 years of secret development, the Citroën DS19 was introduced in 1955 at the Paris Motor Show. In the first 15 minutes of the show, 743 orders were taken and orders for the first day totalled 12,000
  • The 1967 DS19 had a central high-pressure hydraulic system that controlled the power steering, disc brakes, and hydropneumatic suspension. It was powered by a 1911cc 4-cylinder feeding 71bhp to the front wheels
  • Originally Imported from France in 2007, this DS successfully participated in 'Le Jog' Hero classic rally in 2009.
  • In current ownership since 2012 with just one previous UK owner
  • Finished in white with a red and black cloth interior which looks fairly fresh
  • Supplied with some history, including a CD of photos from magazine features, and previous V5s
  • Some light restoration and further detailing would take the car to the next level and your early inspection is welcomed and encouraged to satisfy yourself as to the condition and usability of this 1960s French classic
