DESCRIPTION
- Oxford-based, Metisse Motorcycles have been manufacturing bikes since 1982 using the original Rickman tooling
- The Desert Racer was made famous in the 1960s by Steve McQueen who raced a Bud Ekins-built example
- This particular bike was built by Gerry Lisi, allegedly as payment for his work on a pond
- McQueen Desert Racer-spec but using a 750cc Triumph engine with left-hand gear change
- Built in 2017 with a 1967 registration number. UK-registered on a V5C
- In good running order and fitted with lights that could easily be removed for the authentic West Coast look

Motor vehicles
Our transport partners, EM Rogers, can assist with collection and delivery. Please contact them on 01604 755511 or trafficdesk@emrogers.co.uk for a quote.
Any cars not collected by 2pm on Monday 14th November will be taken to EM Rogers storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £175 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from the Monday onwards.
Motorcycles

Any motorcycles not collected by 2pm on Monday 14th November will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.
Automobilia
Automobilia can be collected from The NEC over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
