Terry MacDonald-restored Bonneville TT Special.
DESCRIPTION
- Introduced for the US-market in the early 1960s for off-road competition
- Technically it was a T120C with an optional package called the 'TT Special'
- Basically a stripped down T120C with model-specific pipes (TT pipes), no lights, ET ignition, no speedometer and high-compression pistons
- Built in December 1966 for the 1967 model year and exported to Johnson Motors in California in January 1967
- Imported in 2017 and restored to its current condition by Terry MacDonald in 2018 with detailed log included
- New oil pump fitted in 2023
- Fitted with Boyer ignition and lower compression pistons for ease of use
- Fitted with correct mud guards, no speedo and two steering lock keys
- Not used since last year so may require some recommissioning before use
- UK-registered on a current V5C
- Complete with history file containing Triumph dating letter, restoration log, old MOT, receipts, spare number plate sticker, old V5C and copy service sheets
