1967 Volkswagen SO42 Westfalia Camper

This is the most desirable and rarest, the VW SO42 Westfalia Split Screen Walk Through Camper produced in 1966 for the American market, finished in the pleasing combination of Velvet Green and White. Imported into the UK in 2006 and fully restored to a very high standard, cleverly retaining much of the production originality. The Full Westfalia Camping Interior is very original, with rock and roll bed, wardrobe and catering equipment all in great condition. The pop-top roof has been re-canvased as per original specification and is complimented by the original fit alloy roof-rack. All the Jalousie side windows function effortlessly. Seat belts are now fitted front and rear. Mechanically, the engine is the original 1500cc which is exceptionally quiet, testament to a quality rebuild and importantly provides lively performance. Underneath the camper is in perfect condition, the restoration was comprehensive replacing all the fuel and brake lines. This is a vehicle that can be enjoyed in so many ways and situations. It certainly would figure in many peoples 'classic list' of vehicles to experience and could prove to be a shrewd and fun investment.
