Delivered new to a British diplomat in Australia who brought the car back with him in 1974. The huge history file contains the original handbooks, an array of period documents and decades worth of receipts.
DESCRIPTION
- Manufactured on 21/12/1967 as a home-market car with cream paintwork, red Ambla interior and manual gearbox
- Delivered new to diplomat Mr Norman Walker of the British High Commission in Victoria, Australia in 1968
- Issued with its first Diplomatic Permit shortly thereafter, the subsequent original permits are in the history file as are the original service books
- Mr Walker brought the car back with him and registered it in the UK on 01/05/1975 and our vendor became its owner on 09/09/2008
- The 84,000 miles (at time of cataloguing) is believed to be accurate and our vendor has refreshed the woodwork and carpeting
- Starting on the button and presenting in generally good order, this Jaguar is an ideal first classic as a stylish rival to mundane British saloons of the period
