DESCRIPTION

  • Manufactured on 21/12/1967 as a home-market car with cream paintwork, red Ambla interior and manual gearbox
  • Delivered new to diplomat Mr Norman Walker of the British High Commission in Victoria, Australia in 1968
  • Issued with its first Diplomatic Permit shortly thereafter, the subsequent original permits are in the history file as are the original service books
  • Mr Walker brought the car back with him and registered it in the UK on 01/05/1975 and our vendor became its owner on 09/09/2008
  • The 84,000 miles (at time of cataloguing) is believed to be accurate and our vendor has refreshed the woodwork and carpeting
  • Starting on the button and presenting in generally good order, this Jaguar is an ideal first classic as a stylish rival to mundane British saloons of the period
