SUMMARY
First year of production example of the 750 Commando pre-unit parallel-twin, which later became known as 'the fastback'.
DESCRIPTION
- When introduced, they were known simply as the Commando 750 and all had the slightly futuristic bodywork
- The term "Fastback" was adopted by the factory when other models were introduced

- 745cc Norton Atlas engine (9.0:1 comp ratio) with twin 930-series Amal Concentric carbs
- Engine rebuilt by John Findlay in an older restoration by a previous owner
- Not matching numbers. Odometer currently reads 16,853 miles. MOT history back to 8,735 miles in 2002
