SUMMARY
A charming piece of Italian sports bike history.
DESCRIPTION
- The ViVi company first surfaced in 1956 producing utility mopeds in Turin, later moving to the Brescia Province to continue production as well as expand the product line to this sporting model which first appeared at the Milan Auto Show in 1965
- First production bikes by the Viberti company utilised the German-made Victoria engine, an amalgamation of the two manufacturer's names forming the brand name 'ViVi
- Styling was reminiscent of the Yamaha FS1E and typical of that era of small Italian sportsters. An ergonomic sports seat and the elongated fuel tank for example were design features targeting the domestic following for the small-engine class of race bikes in the Coupe d'Europe; an international race series for 50cc motorcycles run by the FIM through the 1960s.
- This second-generation model was fitted with the Minarelli P4 engine with a 19mm Dell'Orto carburettor offering 4bhp and 80kph
- Imported in 2019 and is now fully UK-registered
- Appears to be in original condition with no non-standard modifications. Runs and rides
- Supplied with its original Italian logbook - 'Certificato per Ciclomotore'
