DESCRIPTION
- Based on the classic Volvo 121/122S platform, with the 108bhp four-cylinder unit from the B18
- Pietro Frua-designed featuring classic Italian styling elements like the gradually sloping roofline, egg-crate grille, subtle tail fins and accent lines
- Described by some as the 'most beautiful Volvo of all time', this example bears a chance of being the very best presented in the UK today
- The subject of an astonishing rebuild, at a cost of substantially more than its auction estimate today, there are invoices totalling more than £38,000 for the restoration of this car, and £10,000 plus on parts and we can see why
- Acquired by our vendor around three years ago as an almost complete restoration, he set about a sympathetic completion of the project
- Lovely interior. Original carpets and rear seats in excellent condition. New boot trims including rubber matting

Restoration Notes
Full bodywork restoration by professional bodyshop from 2017-2019, receipts totalling £33,000 for body & paint alone. Subsequent reassembly from 2020-2023, with vast amount of new parts, all new brakes, suspension, trim etc. Rebuilt gearbox, re-trimmed front seats, brand new period geniune Minilite alloy wheels with Blockley tyres. Receipts for parts and labour approx £25,000 as well as many hundreds of non receipted reassembly hours.

Due to venue restrictions, all vehicles must be collected on Monday 25th March between 9am and 2pm.
Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £175 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact on Sunday to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back by 9am on Monday morning, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
