SUMMARY

This restored Morris appears to have been well and truly looked after by both its long-term owners. To be sold with 'No Reserve'.

DESCRIPTION

  • The Series V, known as the "Late 1000", was powered by a 1,098cc, OHV four offering 48bhp at 5,100rpm
  • This example was originally finished in Almond Green and first registered on 16/05/1969 to its first owner, a district nurse, who kept the car until 2011 (42-years)
  • It was subsequently purchased on 16/04/2011 by our vendor who has spent over £5,000 on restoration. Fitted with a 5-speed gearbox (details in the file)
  • The bag of history with the car relates mainly to its long-term owner and includes previous MOT Certificates, drivers handbook, workshop manual, a Passport for Service and hundreds of invoices, SORN docs, tax requests, insurance docs, valuations, quotes for restoration and hand written correspondence. There are over 800 items of paperwork and we strongly suggest that potential buyers spend a couple of hours with the car's history in order to establish exactly what work has been carried out over the years
