SUMMARY
Lovely original TR5 with a Surrey Top recently recommissioned after 28 years in storage.
DESCRIPTION
- The TR5 is the rarest member of the TR family with only 2,947 being completed in just 13 months, contributing to the model's value today
- Chassis #1789 is finished in Triumph Racing Green with a black leathercloth interior
- Superbly original throughout and complete with a Surrey Top and the original hood and frame
- Purchased from a deceased estate and disinterred after almost 28 years in storage
- The car's interesting history file contains an earlier V5C which states just one former keeper
- Now fully recommissioned as required; complete fuel system overhaul with new fuel pump, regulator and pressure valve, brake overhaul including replacement brake calipers and master cylinder, new exhaust and new carpets
- The odometer is currently reading 1,341 miles but we can't establish over what period, however a letter on file dated 2005 states that just 77 miles were covered since 1975
- After that extended period in storage, we understand that an application for a new V5C registration document will be required and responsibility of that will fall with the buyer

Due to venue restrictions we need to be clear of the WEC by 1pm on Monday 19th therefore any motor vehicles not collected by this time will be taken to our transport partners storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day.
