SUMMARY
An older restoration with further investment over the years, this classic TR6 remains eminently usable and is very sensibly guided.
DESCRIPTION
- UK-supplied, RHD, ‘CP’ chassis, manual gearbox with overdrive, first registered 27/10/1971
- Powered by the 'CP' 150bhp, 2.5-litre, Lucas fuel-injected straight-six offering 0-60 in just 8.2 seconds
- Finished in Triumph BRG (originally red) with a black interior, soft top and tonneau cover
- Bought by our vendor around 2012 from an engineer (who ran his own engineering business)
- Had been subject to a photo-documented nut and bolt rebuild in 1997 and in regular use since
- Further attention by Clive Manners in early 2008 including an engine rebuild with unleaded head, new rocker shaft assembly, new fuel pump and tank
- Good history file with photographs and documents and many spare parts
- We understand the car is mechanically excellent, however cosmetically the TR has become a little tired in places and would benefit from a light refresh
