Well-restored twin-cylinder two-stroke that would fit into any collection of early Japanese classics.
DESCRIPTION
- Introduced in 1970, the R5 was the first iteration of a new generation of horizontally-split crankcase two-strokes that also included the RD350 and culminated in the RD400.
- This 1971 R5B has been fully restored and professionally painted in its original colours
- Engine cases vapour blasted/polished to factory finish. New crankshaft and pistons. Carbs rebuilt
- Wheel rims, tyres and brakes all new. Forks, controls, handlebars, lights, shocks and seat all new or refurbished
- Running and riding very well, this will fit straight in to any collection of early Japanese classics
- So fresh that a period of running-in is recommended to achieve the best from this superb Yamaha

A member of the administration team will contact you to confirm your transport plans. If we do not hear back from you by 9am on Monday 13th we will arrange for our transport partner, Moving Motorcycles to collect the motorcycle on your behalf and take it to their storage facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £120 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day thereafter.
