SUMMARY

A very rare find indeed, this right-hand drive French Cabriolet presents beautifully, a testament to its single-family ownership from brand new.

DESCRIPTION

  • Very much in the Peugeot tradition of offering stylish coachbuilt versions of its mainstream models, the 504 Coupé and Cabriolet first appeared in 1969. Styled by the Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina, they were based on the successful 504 saloon and used the latter's four-cylinder overhead-valve engines and independently suspended running gear
  • Acquired by our vendor's father brand new just over 50 years ago and subsequently passed to his mother, this is almost certainly one of very few right-hand drive examples still in use today
  • This fabulous four-seater has been extensively recommissioned by Car SOS (whilst not on TV) at a cost of over £14,000
  • Our vendor will be retaining the family-cherished plate for posterity, however this means that the car will be issued with a fresh MOT
  • Practical for the family, recently refreshed for peace of mind and rarely seen Gallic charm in a 1970s classic cabriolet, this superb, one-family owned, low-mileage example is guided very conservatively
