DESCRIPTION
- Renowned for its success on the rally stage, piloted by the likes of Stig Blomqvist and Erik Carlsson, the Saab 96 was anything but conventional
- Originally a three-cylinder, two-stroke, however by 1967 they were becoming rather dated and Saab introduced the 96 powered by the 60bhp, 1498cc, four-stroke, V4 engine originally developed for the Taunus 15M
- The model remained in production until 1980 and this example, dating from 1972, has been in current ownership since 2016
- Finished in Verona Green, it was restored in the 1990s but has been dry stored whilst with our vendor
- Presumably it has been well cared-for since its restoration as the paintwork looks excellent, retaining a deep shine, and the interior remains fresh
- Beautifully put together and cleverly engineered, a Saab 96 is an interesting and practical classic and this cared-for example, in delightful Verona Green, is worthy of your inspection.

Vehicles can be collected from the Warwickshire Event Centre, CV31 1XN on Sunday 10th December between 10am and 3pm and Monday 11th December between 9am and 1pm.

Due to venue restrictions we need to be clear of the WEC by 1pm on Monday 11th therefore any motor vehicles not collected by this time will be taken to our transport partners storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day.
