SUMMARY
The Interceptor III - Italian styling, American muscle and British engineering - all present in this remarkable Reef Blue 'garage find'.
DESCRIPTION
- Styled by Touring of Milan with some subtle tweaks by Vignale, these are handsome cars
- The Interceptor III benefited from a revised grille and bumpers, redesigned seats and GKN alloys
- In need of a complete recommissioning, this would appear to be a fantastic opportunity to acquire one of the UKs most desirable classics of the 1960s and 1970s
- The consummate British GT, that long rakish bonnet, the curvature of that incredible rear window and the burble of its American V8 mean the Interceptor is as 'in vogue' today as it ever was
- Our vendor's late father's car, this is a low-ownership example that has been garage stored for a number of years without use
- Supplied with little documentation, its very desirable number plate, 400 FS, will remain with the car
