The engine is very strong and pulls well. In 2020 the engine was changed to an 1860cc fast road stage 2 spec at a cost of £3,000. Last service July 2024. New twin carbs were added in 2022 with mesh pod filters It also comes with a stainless steel exhaust. recent new alternator, electronic ignition, alloy radiator with twin fans and adjustable thermostat, battery cut off switch, wire wheels 3 years old, updated rear springs, smooth overdrive, Bonnet struts for easy access oil cooler. New AccuSpark plug leads and Sparkplugs (AC7C for cooler running).

1860cc engine holds 60psi oil pressure and revs freely. Exhaust note is strong and running through a steel sports header and twin tail pipe in Stainless steel. Brakes are very progressive having slotted discs and all suspension has been recently re greased.

All gauges and clocks work. All the electrics work, face off Radio does work, but it does not work well, needs sorting or replacing. Electric Ariel pops up and down with ignition on/off. All head lights and spot lights work well and flasher work on front spot lights. Hazard lights switch fitted. New Battery fitted October 2024.

I have owned this MGB GT for a few months with the intention of keeping it but unfortunately I cannot enjoy it as I wanted due to my partner’s ill health, I would rather it was passed onto someone who will use it more frequently than I am able to. Purchased from a well-known Midlands Classic Car dealer last year for £14,500 and has an agreed insurance of £14,500. Built on the 20th February 1973, the car comes with a comprehensive file with some service history and receipts for major work done such as the engine rebuild. M.O.T expires 08 July 2025 (no required) Tax Free. Heritage certificate, and the with a comprehensive photo album to show each stage of the rebuild.
