An extremely rare Vauxhall Magnum Estate, single family-owned from new and believed to be one of the very few examples remaining.
DESCRIPTION
- Magnum was the name given to the larger-engined (1.8 and 2.3-litre) variants of the Viva HC between 1973 and 1978
- The interior was more luxurious with better trim and all models had twin headlights and sported 'Rostyle' wheels
- The 1800 was powered by Vauxhall's 1,759cc 'slant-four' offering 77bhp and 93mph
- This is one of 27 known examples left according to DVLA records
- Single family-owned from brand new, three former keepers and our vendor. 82,000 miles
- Magazine featured in Practical Classics magazine (September 2022)

So the Magnum is now motd, expires 19/03/25. Carried out engine and oil filter change too. Door cards have been fixed, but the screw for the drivers door handle snapped and I’ve ran out of time/will power to fix that. So the window does go up fine, but you have to hold the handle on whilst you wind! Cabin heater cable has snapped, so can’t change hot/cold from inside and coolant temp gauge doesn’t work. Doesn’t overheat as I’ve checked it all with the thermal camera! That’s all I have found. Runs nice now, done a few miles in it with no problems! Been in 1 family since new. My uncles Dad bought from new, was passed down to my uncle and then passed onto my Dad. He passed away last year, so car is now going. Not too many invoices as my Dad and my uncle did most the work at weekend at my Dad's garage. My Dad was a mechanic and owned his own Garage, so did know what he was doing!

Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £175 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact on Sunday to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back by 9am on Monday morning, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
