A superbly restored 2002 with Lux Pack, a previous Concours d'Elegance winner and Club Member's car.
DESCRIPTION
- Previously owned by a BMW Club member, regularly winning Concours competitions. In recent years it was owned and fully restored to the highest of standards in Germany (images on an accompanying memory stick; see a selection attached here); history file contains numerous old MOT certificates (see image attached here) and invoices for restoration
- The 2002 is viewed as the original performance saloon, with its 1,991cc four-cylinder engine from the 2000CS generating 100bhp and 100mph
- The car’s forward-leaning stance gave it a purposeful look, while the low waistline and big glasshouse endowed it with excellent all-round visibility
- In 1974 BMW added the Lux package to spruce up the 02 Series; as the name implies, BMW designers focused on more luxurious interior features, adding a wooden ashtray surround, door cappings, gear knob and instrument binnacle. The steering wheel was padded while the seats were covered in velour (similar to that used on the bigger six-cylinder BMWs). Furthermore, there were door pockets, a rear-seat armrest and velour carpets

Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £175 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact post-sale to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back from you by 5pm on Sunday evening, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
