DESCRIPTION
The success of the Porsche 911 story has been well documented especially as we celebrated its 50th Anniversary. Since its introduction the genesis of the model has been punctuated with iconic and benchmark cars. The introduction of the 911S 2.4 in 1972 set new standards but perhaps the 2.7RS remains their greatest seventies achievement. It was only natural that capacity for mainstream production should be increased to 2687cc which gave a good increase in torque to match the 150 bhp of the 911 2.7 Coupe. Impact bumpers were now required to satisfy American law and production ran from 1974 to 1977.
Supplied new to Buccleugh Engineering in Midlothian Scotland, this Champagne Gold with tan trim 911 2.7 Coupe shows 101,690 miles.It comes with twenty three previous MOT certificates going back to 1981. It has a current MOT until May 2014. The original owners wallet contains a service book as record of maintenance stamped to 2004. The history file contains numerous invoices from independents thereafter.
The nineteen seventies 911 2.7 models are now gaining traction in the classic market and this Coupe is a very usable example with scope for improvement. The colour combination looks suitably period with nice originality, and the car represents great value today.

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in
Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.
Motorcycles
Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a
fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am
and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in
Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
