SUMMARY
Rare GL1000 Goldwing and Watsonian Squire combination in need of some recommissioning.
DESCRIPTION
- Developed in the early 1970s as a 1,000cc and still in production today, the Goldwing is one of the world's best known touring motorcycles
- Introduced in 1974, the big Honda's specification - 1,000cc flat-four, water-cooled, belt-driven overhead camshafts, shaft-drive, triple disc brakes - was very advanced at the time
- Dating from 1977, this example has been fitted with a Watsonian Squire sidecar
- The bike sits well and appears to be essentially original although it will need some recommissioning before returning to the road
- The odometer indicates 46,429 miles which could well be correct
- The single-seat sidecar features a roll hoop, folding screen and a Sparco race harness
- UK-registered and supplied with current V5 plus older registration documents, tax discs and MOTs
