DESCRIPTION

  • Launched in March 1975 by British Leyland as the 18–22 Series
  • Initially available badged as Austin, Morris and Wolseley, before being renamed "Princess"
  • Featuring front-wheel drive, a transverse engine and BL's Hydragas suspension system
  • Really well presented in Carmine Red, this 2200 HL was first registered on1/08/1978
  • It has covered just under 61,000 miles with our vendor and six former registered keepers
  • Recently fitted with four new suspension spheres by specialists Hydragas & Hydrolastic Service Ltd.
  • Interesting history file with its original Leyland Cars Supercover Handbook Portfolio, the Passport to Service, previous MOTs, invoices etc., a period brochure, and a copy of Wedge World from September 2007
  • This year marks the model's 50th Anniversary and there are a number of events planned for these cars during the summer
