A very rare HC model GS1000 in remarkably original 'time warp' condition.
DESCRIPTION
- The HC model was often referred to as the best-handling bike of the era, out performing comparable 1000cc machines like the CBX, as it employed needle roller bearings as opposed to bushes in a slightly longer rear swingarm. Combining this with a relatively lightweight engine made for a superb riding experience
- Produced for just three months between February and May of 1978
- This example has been kept in storage by its second and third owners (three total)
- Paintwork is extremely good for 45 years old. No flaws apart from two small dents in the petrol tank (pictured)
- Plastics and panels are all complete with no cracks and the seat shows no signs of wear
- 13,281 miles from new. The engine is described as showing no indications of heavy use
- Starts and runs with no known faults. May require some light recommissioning for road use

Please note all motorcycles must be out of the venue by midday on Monday 20th February due to venue restrictions.
We are permitted to remove a limited number of motorcycles after the auction on Saturday (between 6pm – 8pm) and after the show closes on Sunday 19th February (between 5pm – 7pm).
Please note Motorcycles cannot be removed from the hall during live event hours.
All other motorcycles must be removed from the venue between 9am – 11am on Monday 20th February.

Any motorcycles not collected by 11am on Monday 20th February will be taken to our transport partners’ facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £125 + VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £10 per day thereafter.
