An unrestored example of Suzuki’s original 1,000cc four-cylinder superbike.
DESCRIPTION
- Suzuki’s first model in the 1-litre class, the GS1000 was based on the basic engine and chassis layout of the popular GS750
- Aimed at the Kawasaki Z1 market, it handled better than its competitors and was capable of over 120mph
- The GS1000E soon followed with mag wheels and twin discs at the front
- Dating from 1978, this 1000E has covered an indicated 13,211 miles and does not appear to have been restored at any point
- Fitted with a new battery and we understand is now running
- Not used for some years so will need recommissioning before road use or would be a great candidate for a full restoration
- Supplied with some older paperwork, MOTs and tax discs
- UK-registered from new and complete with a current V5C

Payment should be made by bank transfer where possible. Card payments can be made (in person only) as follows: up to £20,000 by debit card and £5,000 by credit card.

COLLECTION
Due to venue restrictions, all lots must be cleared from Shuttleworth by 2pm on Monday 15th July 2024. If your motorcycle is not collected by then, we will arrange transport with Moving Motorcycles at a cost of £125+VAT which will include 3 days storage at their secure facility in Northamptonshire.
