DESCRIPTION
- Produced by BMW from the late 1970s until 1985 and aimed at the learner market with 28,000 models produced
- Sharp styling and lighter than similar models meant that it was well received
- Recently becoming popular with the "bobber" custom market as the bikes are lightweight and easy to customise
- This original example is presented in running order but will need some recommissioning before road use
- Matching-numbers, UK-registered from new and showing 43,000 recorded miles
- In 'touring' spec with BMW panniers and front fairing and screen
- Not taxed since 2001 and complete with old MOTs, various receipts and Haynes manual
- Recent work includes brake overhaul, new tyres and new brake shoes
