A late 1970s Puch Maxi in original condition. It's the rare 'Two-Speed Custom GL' version fitted as standard with the 'Executive Touring Pack'.
DESCRIPTION
- Produced in the 1970s and 1980s by Austrian firm Steyr-Daimler-Puch A.G., the Maxi was a commuter moped popular for its reliability, ease of maintenance and fantastic 120mpg fuel economy
- This 1979 example is an early version that required the rider to pedal to build up the momentum needed to start the 50cc two-stroke engine, however later variants came equipped with a kick-start
- It's a Custom GL Model fitted with leg fairings, handlebar fairing, tinted screen, and 'Executive' lockable hard panniers
- In 'garage find' condition, unrestored and mostly original, the bike has covered 5,694 miles and some recommissioning will be required before use
- Supplied with a current V5C, original owners handbooks and some history
