DESCRIPTION
- Yamaha had much success developing competitive trials machines in the 1970s and 1980s, following countless wins in road and motocross spheres
- Under the supervision of Mick Andrews, the TY was a very popular machine and proved a massive hit in the UK following the Scottish Six Days Trial
- Powered by a 171cc, two-stroke, single-cylinder, this example dates from 1979
- Dry stored for a number of years so some recommissioning may be required
- Road-registered with a current V5C and original owners handbook
- Some history and receipts
- A sought after model still usable today in twin-shock events

COLLECTION
Due to venue restrictions, all lots must be cleared from Shuttleworth by 2pm on Monday 15th July 2024. If your motorcycle is not collected by then, we will arrange transport with Moving Motorcycles at a cost of £125+VAT which will include 3 days storage at their secure facility in Northamptonshire.
