SUMMARY

A particularly fine example of the 2-litre Beta Spyder from enthusiast ownership with much recent expenditure.

DESCRIPTION

  • Utilising the Beta Coupé's shorter wheelbase and featuring a Targa-top roof panel, a roll-over bar and folding rear roof, the Pininfarina-designed Beta Spyder was, in fact, exclusively hand-built by Zagato
  • The later cars were powered by a 1,995cc, transverse four-cylinder feeding 115bhp through a 5-speed manual gearbox to the front wheels
  • This is a UK-supplied Beta Spyder 2000 in Rossa Corsa from three years current ownership
  • Our vendor, a marque enthusiast, has invested over £10,000 in the last three years on bringing the car mechanically up to a very high level (details in the Condition Report)
  • Cosmetically, it presents really well having had fresh paint and a Waxoyl (or similar) treatment in the past
  • The black leatherette interior looks particularly impressive with the seats appearing almost unmarked
  • In 2021, at its first Lancia Motor Club National Rally in our vendor’s ownership, HPM 155V achieved one of the Chairman’s Top Ten Show Car awards and always attracts a lot of interest and attention
  • It's supplied with MOT Certificates going back to 2006, an original owners handbook, original toolbox (Fiat), jack, Haynes workshop manual and assorted spares
