DESCRIPTION
- The TZ range of water-cooled race bikes was introduced in 1973 with the TZ250A
- The model range was gradually developed and improved over the years and production ceased in 1982 with the TZ250J
- The TZ250G benefited from larger diameter forks, a more powerful engine and "powerjet" carburettors
- This restored example is presented in very original condition
- Forming part of a large private collection of Yamaha race bikes
- Engine number prefix 4A1 visible but no numbers stamped on the crank case, so presumably a replacement case
- Displayed for last few years so will require recommissioning before use
