DESCRIPTION
- This 1981 S2.2 is in fabulous order both mechanically and cosmetically and the Championship Gold paintwork and cream leather interior have recently been treated to a meticulous detail costing over £1,000
- Fitted with the sonorous 160bhp 913LC 2.2-litre Twin Cam engine fuelled through twin Dell Orto 45DHLA carbs and mated to a 5-speed Getrag Type 265 gearbox
- The fibreglass body sits on a fully galvanised, rust-free chassis and, weighing just 1,200kg, performance is impressive with 0-60 in 7.5 seconds and 127mph
- It was originally restored in 1993 with a photographic record in the history file
- Recent work in 2022 included a new cam belt, tensioner bearings, auxiliary and fan belts, thermostat and hoses, rebuilt carbs, rewired engine bay, new plugs, all oils and filters, new E10 fuel lines and filters, rebuilt brakes with new pads and shoes, a new indicator/full beam stalk and new windscreen wipers
- The Cream leather interior was fully refurbished at the same time, a black suede Momo Prototipo steering wheel was added, and the Lotus was treated to a pristine set of refurbished GKN Turbine alloys
- The indicated mileage is 80,500 supported by a plethora of paperwork in the history file
- Despite being MOT exempt, our vendor has kindly put a fresh MOT on the car - 'No Advisories' - which is valid until 20/02/2025

Due to venue restrictions, all vehicles must be collected on Monday 25th March between 9am and 2pm.
Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £175 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact on Sunday to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back by 9am on Monday morning, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
