SUMMARY
A very impressive, showroom quality example of the early 2.8i with just 58,000 miles.
DESCRIPTION
- In 1982, Ford dropped the Capri's 3-litre V6 in favour of the all-new 2.8-litre injection Cologne V6, with a power output of 160bhp and a top speed of 130mph
- This early example is finished in gleaming Signal Black with red and silver coach lines and sits on the correct SVE 13" Pepperpot alloys
- Very tidy interior with black and white Carla check and grey velour seating and a period JVC cassette player
- It was supplied new by Norman Reeves Motors Ltd, mainstream Ford dealers, on 01/11/1982
- Accompanied by an excellent history file including its original dealer pack and lots of old invoices over the years for work completed
- This particular car was owned by Shepshed Ford until recently and took pride of place in their showroom
- These early cars with the 4-speed gearbox and the pre-Recaro interior are now rare and this unmolested example, with less than 59,000 miles from new, is rather special. One for the collector
