SUMMARY
An increasingly rare and desirable example of the 2.8-litre C123 in a lovely colour, three previous keepers, just less than 100,000 miles and acres of history.
DESCRIPTION
- The flagship of the W123 range was the 280CE coupé with a powerful, fuel-injected Twin-Cam, 2.8-litre six (M110/988) developing 185bhp
- Finished in Silver Blue Metallic with Navy Blue leather, this handsome 280CE was first registered on 09/03/1982
- It was optioned from new with metallic paint, leather, alloys, a radio, ABS and self-levelling suspension in exchange for £17,723.20
- In April, 2013, it was sold to its third owner who lived in Northern Ireland, returning to England and our vendor’s possession in 2021
- Huge history file containing a staggering amount of service and owner’s history including a hand-written journal listing every item of expenditure by the original owner over 25 years
