DESCRIPTION

  • Registered in 1982, this 500SEC (C126) is reported to be the first on UK roads, #2,106 off the production line, with the majority not appearing until 1983-4
  • Powered by a 4,973cc fuel-injected V8 producing 261bhp with a 4-speed automatic box, power-assisted steering, ABS brakes, cruise control and 16'' staggered penta alloys
  • Finished in Astral Silver Metallic with AMG-influenced bodywork over a blue Recaro leather interior with wood inlays
  • The original specification includes electric windows, air conditioning, cruise control, and electric front seats. Fitted with the extremely rare AMG-optioned original Clarion G80 stereo system
  • Treated to a full restoration three years ago at ERB Motors in Portsmouth including a bare-metal respray, engine and gearbox rebuild, and new suspension, although the priority was to keep as close as possible to the original factory specification
  • Supplied with original handbooks, stamped service book, invoices for restoration and photographs, tool kit and the registration, 500 EXS, will remain with the car
  • These beautiful coupés are becoming collectable now and values continue to firm

Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £175 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact on Sunday to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back by 9am on Monday morning, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
