DESCRIPTION
- The RS500 was introduced in 1982 and used by importers teams and privateers until 1988
- Similar to the factory NS500 but used slightly less exotic materials, making it more affordable
- Water-cooled, three-cylinder, two-stroke with reed-valve induction until 1986 when Honda released the ATAC stystem
- Successful from its debut and now collectible and sought after
- This restored example is finished in Ron Haslam Honda Britain colours
- Complete as pictured but missing its balance shaft
- Not currently running so will require recommissioning before use
- A great looking example of the legendary RS500R
