DESCRIPTION
- Developed by Aston Martin Tickford Ltd, the Tickford Turbo Capri was based on a standard Mk III Capri 2.8 Injection
- Visually distinguished by the lift-reducing GRP mouldings on the nose, flanks and tail, the fixed-head was credited with a 0.37 drag coefficient
- Reworked with the addition of an IHI turbocharger and Garrett intercooler, its 2,792cc Cologne V6 generated 205bhp and 260lb/ft of torque, offering 0-60mph in 6.0 seconds and 140mph
- This example is very well known car indeed within the Tickford community and superbly presented in gleaming Diamond White with an unmarked Grey Recaro interior and is build #56
- Purchased by our vendor in 2019 after an engine fire whilst driving, the car underwent a total rebuild spanning three years
- The shell was completely taken back to bare metal. New metal and panels fitted where required and treated to a number of coats of that special Pearlescent White paint
- It's believed that in excess of £50,000 has been invested on bringing this rare Tickford back from its early demise and it's now 'new-pin' ready
- The engine, although having only covered some 42,000 miles, was also completely rebuilt and a new wiring loom fitted at the same time
- The underside has benefitted from a complete refurbishment, as can be seen from our images
- This remarkable Capri has also been featured in Classic Ford magazine (16th March 2024), further enhancing its exposure

Due to venue restrictions, all vehicles must be collected on Monday 3rd June between 9am and 2pm.
Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £225 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact on Sunday to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back from you by 5pm on Sunday evening, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
