DESCRIPTION
- Produced exclusively in 1984, this Beta Coupé Volumex VX was Lancia’s front-engined, front-wheel drive, two-door compact coupé, designed to compete with the exploding hot hatch market of the period.
- Fitted with a supercharged 2-litre, 8v, four-cylinder engine producing 136bhp, the Volumex reached 62 mph in 9.0 seconds on its way to 124mph.
- Supplied new by Galway Smith of Huddersfield, the history file contains the original warranty card, service book and Owner’s Handbook.
- The engine benefitted from a rebuild in 1990 by Beta Car
