Classic four-seat 4/4 restored with a new chassis and powered by the desirable FIAT 98bhp Twin-Cam.
DESCRIPTION
- During its long production run (1936-2019) the 4/4 was fitted with a variety of engines
- 1981 saw the introduction of the FIAT Twin-Cam 1,600cc unit offering 97bhp made even more accessible by the new 5-speed gearbox
- The standard T/C was actually quicker than the preceding 'Competition Spec' 4/4s
- Extensively restored (see Condition Report) including a new chassis around four years ago
- Fitted with twin Weber carbs substantially increasing power
- Original speedo replaced at rebuild showing 42,452 miles with an electronic upgrade currently showing 389
- Front and rear suspension upgraded to 2008-spec offering lighter steering
- Really well presented in Brilliant Red with black wire wheels and a black leather interior
- Four-seat 4/4s fitted with the powerful FIAT engine are rare and becoming sought after

Engine : Fiat Twin cam with twin Weber downdraft carbs, New Clutch Electric fuel pump with Crash cut off switch. Radiator re-cored, New alternator. New Chassis. Front suspension, New springs, swivel thrust race bearings added with steering damper , new discs & 4 pot callipers, Rear suspension: 4 leaf asymmetric springs , suspension "hoop" with Spax tele shocks. Dashboard replaced with new switches & wiring where needed. Electronic Speedo & 12v socket

Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are Ā£225 plus VAT for removal and Ā£10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact on Sunday to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back from you by 5pm on Sunday evening, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
