SUMMARY
Very late production, electric start T140 in superb order.
DESCRIPTION
- The big news at Triumph in 1980 was the introduction of electric starting on the T140ES
- It was fitted at the rear of the timing chest where the old magneto used to live
- Sadly, it arrived too late to save the Meriden Workers' Cooperative and bike production ceased in 1984
- This fabulous, matching numbers, example dates from late 1983 /early 1984 and was UK registered from new
- Fully restored in the past, it's classically finished in black and red and presents superbly
- In running order, it's accompanied by its V5, old MOTs and many receipts
