A recently recommissioned example of BMW's mid-1980s engaging sports saloon fitted, unusually, with automatic transmission.
DESCRIPTION
- Available from 1984-88, the E28 M535i was effectively a trim upgrade and featured M-Technic suspension, wheels and a unique bodykit
- Powered by a naturally-aspirated 'M30' 3.4-litre straight-six, delivering 215bhp and 229lb/ft of torque to the rear wheels and offering 0-60 in 7.2 seconds and 143mph
- Most were ordered with the dog-leg, 5-speed manual gearbox although this example was optioned with the 4-speed automatic transmission
- Finished in Polaris Silver Metallic over a navy blue leather interior, this smart example was purchased by our vendor in 2018
- Factory-fitted with electric windows, mirrors and sunroof, cruise control and a trip computer
- Over the last three years, the car has been entrusted to Gloucestershire-based Classic Bahnstormers for some mechanical recommissioning and to sort out various niggles. The invoices on file total over £17,000
- Supplied with older MOTs and invoices dating back from the 1990s along with invoices for recent recommission, tool kit, spare wheel and an upgraded remote locking key

Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £225 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact on Sunday to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back from you by 5pm on Sunday evening, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
