SUMMARY
Steve Wick-designed Yamaha TZ80-powered 80cc race bike.
DESCRIPTION
- Steve Wick had an enviable reputation as an engineer with his 125cc and 250cc machines on the British race circuits
- When the 80cc class was announced in 1984 it was welcomed due to rising costs in the larger category
- Powered by Yamaha's TZ80 unit, it was altogether more affordable and the new class proved popular
- This particular machine is believed to be the sister bike to the one raced by Jamie Whitham in 1985
- Frame number is 001 so was the prototype with Jamie Whitham racing frame 002
- Presented in very good overall condition
- Running recently
- Complete with a CRMC registration certificate dated 2017
- Great addition to any race bike Collection
