The Mark V Austin Mini (factory code ADO20) was produced from 1984-1990. The most obvious changes by then were larger doors than the original Mini and wind up windows, rather than sliding windows. The suspension went from Hydrolastic to rubber cones and production at the Cowley plant ceased in the late 1970's, with all production transferring to "The Austin" Works in Birmingham. All Mk V cars had 210mm brake discs and plastic wheel arches but retained the Mk IV bodyshell shape.
The 'Mayfair' was introduced as a limited run 998cc model to revive sales in the mid 1980's. This particular car is a May 1986 version that shows an ultra low recorded mileage of just 2,750 miles today! Certainly the last 6 M.O.T certificates confirm the gradual increase in mileage every year of just a few hundred, confirmed by our vendor during his ownership. So,obviously a collector's car from new, it offers today an entry in to classic car ownership with a real' British Classic ' (built well before BMW ownership) that can be enjoyed when the sun shines and maintain the incredible condition and careful useage that it has received so far. Offered with a current M.O.T until June 2014 and a partial service history.

Our transport partners, EM Rogers, can assist with collection and delivery. Please contact them on
01604 755511 or trafficdesk@emrogers.co.uk for a quote.
Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in
Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.
Motorcycles
Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a
fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.
Automobilia
Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am
and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in
Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
