SUMMARY
A unique example with recent expenditure of some £6,000.
DESCRIPTION
- First registered on 27/11/1986 and stripped to bare metal and repainted in the same shade of blue in 2015 to match the last owner’s 1960 Aston Martin DB4
- Fitted with a 1,275cc engine rebuilt by Hurley Engine Services with additional attention in 2024. Requires 'running-in' for some 500 miles
- Fitted with Oxley bucket front seats trimmed in blue leather and an interior finished with high quality materials
- The restoration was completed in 2023 representing an investment of around £10,000 with an additional £6,000 spent in 2024
- Sensibly estimated due to a 2005 DVLA marker, understood to be from an insurance payout after the car was stolen in period, but later recovered
- Presented to auction with a current V5C, receipted history file and an odometer reading of some 49,900 at the time of cataloguing

Remarks
Previously sold by us in 2023 the car was found in a garage in the late 2000s, it was bought by our then vendor's mechanic initially who then sold it to our vendor and the mechanic's restoration took 10 years and cost £10,000. In 2005 it received a scrapped marker and our then vendor notes that the body work, once stripped back, to bare metal showed no damage and concludes the insurance paid out when it was stolen back in the day. Our seller, who bought the car from us in 2023, has lavished further attention on the car
