Every incarnation of the Porsche 911 has been an improvement on the previous model. Thus from 1984 when Porsche introduced the 3.2 Carrera the car took on a new lease of life, thanks to new body styling, suspension and brake upgrades, the 3164cc Bosch L-Jetronic injection system and electronics now controlled by Digital Motor Electronics. These updates resulted in a stylish and much-improved car, so the 1980's Carrera 3.2 is now highly regarded as a superb driving machine and an excellent car to collect.

This particular car is a UK-supplied 3.2 Carrera Targa. Most versions produced for the UK were the Coupé or Convertible derivative, the Targa having been produced in limited numbers. The car is finished in its original colour combination of Grand Prix White with Burgundy leather upholstery with flannel cloth inserts.
