Ferrari launched the 328 as the highly successful 308 replacement at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1985. Primary differences were a capacity enlargement from 3.0 litre to 3.2 litre of their famous V8 engine, plus the addition of fuel injection. All this added up to 270BHP in a fantastic newly designed body which was to become an instant sales success. The model was to remain the same throughout it's life, other than the addition of ABS in 1989.
