DESCRIPTION

The Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 was introduced in 1976 as the successor to the rather larger 365 GT 2+2. With its much sleeker looks the Ferrari 365, also designed by Pininfarina, remained in production with very few styling changes until 1989. It had proved to be a great success for the company. The 412 was introduced in 1985 and this was technically a much improved and modernised version of the classic design, whilst still retaining a timeless and most elegant shape. With a displacement of nearly 5 litres, the V12 engine now produced a healthy 340 hp and ABS was available for the first time in a Ferrari. The Ferrari 412i is the ultimate version of the 400-series four-seat Grand Touring cars and remains highly respected for its performance, luxury and ease of operation.

Well presented in its original combination of Agrento Metallic Silver with Navy Blue leather, this example was built in 1988 and is one of only 306 right hand drive models produced. "F328 0YP' was first delivered to a Mrs D.L. Jagelman of Rose Bay, New South Wales by Maranello Concessionaires Australia in September of "88, but by 1990, the car had made its way back to UK shores. Bound in its original brown leather wallet, the service book is stamped by Maranello of Egham at every major service interval from 1990 when the car had reached 6,022 miles, to 2001 when it had covered 63,752 miles. Invoices totalling £3,547 show work carried out in 2001 by Maranello include a new exhaust system, starter motor, door seals and drive belts. Later that year further receipts detail work by Graypaul Ferrari Edinburgh at a cost of £3,075 including a new oil cooler, shock absorbers and a new battery.

The exterior of the car is in fantastic condition with the current owner having had the front of the car resprayed earlier this year to remove any stone chips and paint defects. The interior of the car has recently been treated with leather hide food so also looks in fine condition, as do the carpets. With a detailed history file full of receipts & previous MOT certificates, the original handbooks and even the original Ferrari toolkit, this V12 Ferrari is ready to be driven across Europe as it was always intended furthering its current odometer mileage of 72,541 miles. The current owner has informed us that the car will be sold with a fresh MOT certificate.
