DESCRIPTION
- The Yamaha TZ250 range of 'over the counter' racers became the mainstay of racers at national and international level during the 1970s
- Developed annually and remained competitive throughout its lifespan
- The need to move away from the standard parallel-twin set up in the 1980s meant the move into a 'reverse cylinder' configeration
- This, alongside a new Deltabox alloy frame, reed induction, new gearbox and a new alloy swing arm, resulted in a more up to date racer
- This example is presented in restored and mostly original condition
- Forming part of a large private collection
- Displayed for some years so will require recommissioning before use
- Very collectable and, once recommissioned, would be a great race/parade bike
