The all-new Gilera Saturno for the 1980s.
DESCRIPTION
- Giuseppe Gilera starting making bikes in the early 1900s in Milan
- Famous for their racing exploits in the 1950s with the likes of Geoff Duke and Derek Minter
- Finishing second and third at the Isle of Man TT in 1963 with John Hartle and Phil Read on 500cc machines
- The Nuovo (new) Saturno was a hark back to the racing Saturnos from the 1940s and 1950s
- Aimed initially at the Japanese home market, but soon sold in other countries including the UK
- This mostly original and unrestored example is presented in good overall condition
- In running order and has an MOT until January 2025. Recent cam belt change along with new oil and filter
- Originally registered in Japan and now UK-registered. Complete with MOT, dating letter and import paperwork as well as its current V5C

Due to venue restrictions, all lots must be cleared from Shuttleworth by 2pm on Monday 15th July 2024. If your motorcycle is not collected by then, we will arrange transport with Moving Motorcycles at a cost of £125+VAT which will include 3 days storage at their secure facility in Northamptonshire.
