DESCRIPTION
- The little coupé on offer here is the spiritual Grandson of the original Cox GTM (Grand Touring Mini) that was introduced at the Racing Car Show in 1967 generating much excitement amongst Mini owners looking for a project
- There were a number of Mini-based specials available at the time but the GTM was very highly regarded
- Ownership of the company changed hands a couple of times and this China Blue example is the handiwork of the Leicestershire-based, GTM Car Company Ltd and dates from around 1997
- This is a full fibreglass monocoque design with two Metro subframes fore and aft with 'Hydrolastic' suspension
- Powered by a Rover Metro 1.4 GTi Twin Cam with single-point injection offering 95bhp, 0-60 in just 8.6 seconds and 115mph
- The car has a good hardtop and a pretty good soft top which has rarely been used
- Our vendor has owned the car since 2004 with it last being used in 2006 then garaged
- This could well be a worthwhile project financially, but will be fun either way as these little mid-engine coupés are surprisingly quick and remarkably sure-footed

Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £175 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact post-sale to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back from you by 5pm on Sunday evening, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
