DESCRIPTION
- The 1991 340 was powered by the 1,397cc B14 ED unit producing 69bhp and 106Nm of torque through the continuously variable automatic transmission
- The top of the range GLS-spec included heated door mirrors, front spoiler, impact wraparound bumpers, headlamp wash/wipe, high level brake light, central locking, electric front windows, padded steering wheel, orthopedically designed heated front seats, ski hatch, folding rear seats, and more
- This amazing example is finished in Signal Red and was purchased by an elderly gentleman who drove it sparingly until his passing in 1997
- His son then took ownership in 1998 and stored it away in a dry, heated garage until recently when it was finally moved and taken to a Volvo main agent for a thorough check over
- Having covered just 6,375 miles from new, this time warp 300-Series is probably about as close as you could get to walking into a Volvo Showroom in 1991 and looking at a new 340
- All booklets, brochures and documents remain with the car from new providing a comprehensive timeline, validating the little Volvo's history
- We understand that it runs and drives well and will be offered for sale with a service and a fresh MOT until May 2025 issued with no advisories

Completely original timp warp vehicle, having been in storage since 1998, and covering just 6,375 miles. The car boasts its original paint, with some small imperfections possibly caused by bird lime and being left untouched for many years, but these are only visible on closer inspection and do no detract from the overall appearance of the car. The original untouched condition I feel contributes to its timp capsule status.

Comprehensive time line to validate vehicle history, only covered 6k, miles, had services at Volvo until it was stored in 1998. Has had a recent check over by Volvo main agent. All booklets, brochures and documents remain with the car from new. An amazing example of a true time warp car, having been purchased in 1990 the elderley gentleman drove it sparingly until his passing in 1997, upon which time his son took ownership and stored it away until now in a dry heated garage. As such the car has only covered 6375 and is a true glimspe back into the 90's . It has not suffered from corrosion deterioration and has not required remedial works so is a true survivor car. Every document has been kept with the car including all the sales brochures of the time. The car remained garaged and untouched since 1998. When it was finally moved it was taken to a Volvo main agent for a check over and will be sold with a new MOT.

Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £225 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact on Sunday to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back from you by 5pm on Sunday evening, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
