1991 Ferrari Testarossa

The amazing and thoroughly exotic Ferrari Testarossa was first introduced as a 5.0 litre, 12 cylinder mid-engined sportscar in 1984. It was the successor to the Berlinetta Boxer. Instantly successful worldwide, the car then went on to have various derivatives - the 512TR and F512M, but it is the original cars with the 'twin mirrors' (produced between 1987 and 1991) that are now recognised as the most collectable and rare. With 440bhp and 500 newton/metres of torque, 0 - 60 came in just 4.7 seconds pushing on to a top speed of 196mph.

This original UK supplied car has covered a documented 10,000 miles from new. Having had only one previous owner, this desirable late Testarossa has been with the current owner for over 20 years in a private collection. The original service booklet is stamped up and every single MoT can be found in the history file, warranting the incredibly low mileage of 10,350 miles from new. As one would expect the car is in superb order throughout. The bodywork is resplendent in Rosso with an unmarked cream interior. The paint is factory original and there are only minor stone chips on the front bumper. A full mechanical condition report will be available from marque specialists Terry Keys and the car is sold having just completed a major cambelt service. Twelve months MoT will also be supplied for the new owner.

Offered with its original service booklet, three spare keys, old invoices, wallet, jack and spare wheel, this car would make a fine addition to any Ferrari collection. A Koenig stainless steel exhaust system results in a fine exhaust note and allows for the full 12 cylinders to be heard in all their glory. The private plate currently on the car is not being sold with this lot, however, the original number plate has been retained.
