DESCRIPTION

Supplied new by Ford dealer Cochranes of Galashiels and first registered on 26/09/1991, this four-wheel drive four-door Sapphire Cosworth has had very little use in the past 20 years having been part of private Collections since the early 2000s
Finished in Moondust Silver over Raven Black Recaro seats with matching black carpets throughout, it sits on a set of 15" 'Sharkstooth' alloy wheels
Equipment includes headlamp washers, a heated rear screen, electric windows, a Ford-branded cassette stereo and separate CD player, a digital clock, heater and ventilation controls and a manually operated sunroof
Powered by its turbocharged 2-litre inline-four which was fully rebuilt in January 2011 and further improved with a change of turbocharger to a T34. Our vendor informs us that he believes that the engine now develops 420bhp
Supplied with its original book packs, stamped service book, invoices and previous MOTs, along with a number of spare parts (photographed) and will have a fresh MOT prior to the sale
